DIY Painting Tip: Keep Splatters Off Door Levers and Knobs

If you are painting your door and do not want to splatter on the door handle or doorknob and other door fixtures, simply wrap them with aluminum foil.

Unless, of course, if you’re also trying to upgrade your door knob with paint (but in the same colour as the door???) - though a better option might be to get new designer door handles or door levers at affordable prices.
